CGL (Combined Graduate Level):
Combined Graduates Level SSC is probably the toughest SSC exam. It is conducted every year to recruit candidates on various non technical posts of group B and group C. The candidate should have passed graduation to appear for SSC CGL. Some of the posts on which recruitment is done through SSC CGL are Assistant grade auditors and inspector of Income Tax and excise department, sub-inspector in central police forces (BSF, CRPF etc.), CBI clerks etc.
CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level)
The exam is conducted by SSC to recruit lower division clerks and data operators in various central and state government departments. To appear in the SSC CHSL the candidate must have passed 12th standard from a recognized board.
JEO (Junior Engineering Exam): This exam is for technical posts of group B in thevarious state as well as central government departments. Common posts are like engineers in military engineering services, Water commission, postal department etc.
MTO (Multi-Tasking Officer): This exam is for subordinate staffs in various central government departments, basic eligibility for this exam is to pass 10(matriculation exam).
Constable Examination:This exam is conducted by SSC to recruit constable for various police services like BSF, ITBP, NIA, CRPF etc. But for this candidate need to get through physical eligibility test in order to appear in the written examination.
